This is a long overdue but very well deserved review for Darren. He photographed our wedding in October last year and we couldn’t have made a better choice – we had a short engagement so booked him quite close to the day and we’re so glad he was available! He’s super friendly and made us and our guests feel so relaxed, which shows in the photos. I’ve always thought I would feel awkward doing couple shots but Darren made it feel completely natural. He was also brilliant at finding inventive and visually gorgeous ways to use our surroundings, which was particularly impressive given that he was in an unfamiliar location. The photos themselves are wonderful and perfectly capture the relaxed, fun, colourful and slightly 80s vibe of our wedding, which was exactly what we wanted. Darren is talented and versatile and it was a joy to have him there for our big day, we would 1000% recommend him.

Darren and his team are so talented and captured our wedding day perfectly! We've been looking through the photos and they're absolutely beautiful. We're so happy with them! Darren and Zach managed to capture the essence of the day perfectly and we love how happy everyone looks!

We are so pleased we chose Darren at DB Photography for our wedding. We got married early October 2020, and he was incredibly helpful during the process and adapting to last minute changes - including reception location and number of guests. He even adapted the package we booked due to no longer requiring a second shooter. Our engagement shots were beautiful and our wedding photos were just incredible. He managed to get some fantastic group shots whilst still adhering to safety guidelines, plus some amazing ones of the two of us. He was also up for us taking some untraditional shots on the ferris wheel on Eastbourne seafront! We had such a special day, and Darren really helped with that and has given us some wonderful memories in the photos he took.

We had our wedding Back on the 8th September 2018. We had looked at a few Different photographers and Darren stood out from the others with his work. I always wanted Darren as my wedding photographer so within a couple of weeks of getting engaged I message him to ensure I had him! 2 years in advance as I know how popular he is!
He gave us all the information that was needed and kept us in the loop for when it was our engagement photoshoot and how the Big Day would run in terms of photos.

It was the best wedding decision we made to book Darren to photograph our wedding last month. From the first consultation we got on well and on the day him and Steph were friendly, fun and incredibly professional. We have 1000 perfect photos of our day and absolutely love them.
It is genuinely invaluable having two photographers on the day, something which no one else we spoke to before booking offered, because they capture the getting ready moments for both parties and then different views throughout the day. It was amazing to look back on both our reactions throughout the day.
The group shots were done in the most seamless way (often a difficult and long thing at weddings I’ve been to) and we are just so delighted with them.
Darren and Steph worked out spots for perfect photos and we ended up with so many great shots. Also Darren saved us a few times with his wedding knowledge like telling my bridesmaids the right way to do up my dress and bringing umbrellas!

I cannot recommend them enough. Darren and his lovely wife Jade photographed our wedding and went above and beyond what they needed to do on the day and helped us with so many things! I do not normally feel comfortable being photographed but they both put us at ease and were polite, professional and friendly. Working within the venue due to the bad weather didn’t affect the work they did one bit. They also worked with us to find what style and shots we wanted or didn’t want. 5****** (Is it possible to give higher than 5*?!) We could not recommended Darren and his team highly enough. From our very first contact with Darren he was friendly, understanding and professional. Nothing was too much to ask. They turned up in the morning happy and excited for us. The whole way through it just felt like they were part of the wedding party. So many of our friends didn't even realise they were our photographers because they were so discrete. Getting the wedding photos back was amazing. Reliving the day with such beautiful images. Capturing moments we didn't even have a chance to realise were happening!

We had the pleasure of Darren shooting our wedding on the 20th July 18. From initial conversations, nothing was too much trouble.
