Anna & Seb

This past November, we had the pleasure of being a part of Anna and Seb's beautiful wedding day. The modern, yet country setting of Blackstock Estate lent itself perfectly to the weddings autumnal theme. Having followed Anna on Instagram I could see her planning process and it was so lovely to see it all come to life on the day!

I arrived at Blackstock and met Anna and her bridal party in the venues new bridal suite. The room was full of people all excited that the day had finally arrived, but nobody as excited as Anna. There was lots of space to play with at the venue in their newly renovated accommodation area, with Anna's dress hanging up on a wardrobe and a vintage restored fireplace to play with, I set to work.

Some of my favourite shots from the morning are of Anna with her beautiful autumnal bouquet from Pick-A-Lilly Flowers and Cakes which looked so fantastic with Anna's stunning white gown and the elegant black bridesmaids dresses. A special moment was when Anna opened her gifts from Seb with her Mum by her side, these shots are really natural and I LOVE the bright white walls and wooden floored backdrop of the bridal suite.

Steph was over with Seb for his getting ready shots. I think we can all agree that their suits were absolutely perfect for this autumn wedding.

I met back up with Steph at the venue where, whilst i was taking shots of Anna being buttoned into her dress, she took portraits of all of Anna's eight bridesmaids. Four of which were Annas sisters including her maid of honour Katie (Annas twin sister!)

It was a beautiful emotional ceremony. Anna and Seb became husband and wife watched on by their friends and family and their cheeky little toddler Saskia.

After a brief welcome drink it was time to take Anna and Seb off for their couple shots. As I mentioned I followed Anna on Instagram and I loved getting tagged when she saw something she liked! I had a lot of inspiration and clear idea of what they were looking for. It being early November timing was going to be tight but we made use of every golden ray, capturing the last few shots before dinner with the setting sun behind them.

After dinner and speeches we did a few more couple shots of the bride & groom using the lights in the courtyard. We also captured some of Annas stunning dress back in the bridal suite making use of the lighted mirror.

Myself and Steph always have a little competition to capture 'The' first dance shot and I have to admit her use of the wide angle is an absolute winner here!

I love a sparkler arch- Anna said on her Instagram that she was so bloody happy in this moment and you can tell! It was a gorgeous way to end our working day and to start the nights partying for them!
